Mary E. Dell, 88, Fostoria, passed away peacefully surrounded with the love of her family, Thursday, June 25, 2009. Mary was born Dec. 6, 1920, in Carey to the late Clarence and Nella (Kimmel) Hagley. She married Raymond J. Dell, April 9, 1942, in Fostoria, and he survives in Fostoria. Franklin F. “Hank” Holman, 85, of rural Fostoria, died 10:50 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2009, at his home. He was born Nov. 13, 1923, in Fostoria to the late Alfred and Isabelle (Goshe) Holman. He married Bernice Cassidy Oct. 5, 1946, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria and she survives in Fostoria. Dr. Ann Harrold-Doering-Jones, 78, Fostoria, died Tuesday afternoon, June 30, 2009, her daughter’s home. She was born July 22, 1930, in Fostoria to Duane E. and Wanda A. (Gallagher) Harrold. Ann first married Howard O. Doering Jr. June 14, 1948, in Newport, Ky., and he died April 15, 1978. She then married Herbert E. Jones May 21, 1982 in Lake Tahoe, Calif., and he died May 2, 2004. Dale Franklin Boyer, Fostoria, quietly passed away in his home on a bright, sunny 24th day of June, 2009. He was 81. Dale was born Feb. 4, 1928, in Deshler, the third son of Levoy and Leona Boyer. His oldest brother Paul of Enon, Ohio survives him. After graduating from Deshler High School in 1946, Dale attended college in Wheeling, W.Va., where he was trained in telegraphy.
