Earl A. Kreais, 83, of Fostoria, died at 3:41 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at Mercy St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Toledo.
He was born Dec. 7, 1930, in Wayne to the late August M. and Ada L. (Wade) Kreais.
He married Rosella A. Frank on Oct. 7, 1961, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Tiffin and she survives in Fostoria.
Also surviving are children, Patricia A. (Dean Stell) Kreais of Fostoria, Kenneth E. (Connie) Kreais of Findlay, Ronald L. Kreais of Fostoria, Kevin M. (Kimberly) Kreais of Fostoria, and Gary J. (Jenny) Kreais of Fostoria; son-in-law, William Scherger of New Riegel; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Iva Kieffer, Fostoria.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Scherger; five brothers, Sylvester, Paul and Ralph Kreais and John and Glenn at infancy; and a sister, Ada Brossia-Abel.
Earl was a lifelong Wood and Seneca County Farmer, and had also been a job setter at the former Excello, Fostoria.
He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, a Third Degree Knight of Columbus of Council #1197, a Fourth Degree member of Fr. Raymond Kirsch Assembly #845, all of Fostoria.

He was born Oct. 4, 1959, in Fremont to Edwin and Patricia (Valenti) Bailey Sr.
He first married Becky Harris and they divorced, he then married Patricia Wheeler on Feb. 25, 2012, in Cygnet.
Survivors include wife, Patricia Bailey of Fostoria; sons, Brooks Bailey of Fostoria and Eric Harris of North Baltimore; stepson, Levi Paxton of Fostoria; stepdaughter, Kristen Paxton of Fostoria; brothers, Bob Bailey of Findlay and Edwin Bailey Jr. of Fostoria; sisters, Susan (Brian) Orians of Parma, Jody (Khaled) Hejab of Findlay, and Kitty (Donald) Bergstedt and Patty Atwan of Fostoria; 10 grandchildren; and his dogs, Sam and Sammy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linda C. Igou.
He retired from Whirlpool Co. in Findlay and was a member of the Kings Parish Church in Cygnet.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 24, at 1 p.m. at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria with Pastor Mary Garner officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday, 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Perry Center Cemetery in Perry Township.

Marilyn (Heter) Wilkinson, 80, Fostoria, formerly of Bellevue, died Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Independence House in Fostoria.
She was born Feb. 12, 1934, in Sandusky, the daughter of Harold Kenneth and Ivah May (Chandler) Heter.
She is survived by sister Marcia Chiow of Bellevue; stepchildren, Lynn Kaye (Dennis) Dorman of Findlay and Lori Pickering of Richmond, Va.; five step-grandchildren; eight step great-grandchildren; two step great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Amy (Rex) Fishbaugh of Findlay; brothers in-law Lasley (Iris) Wilkinson of McComb and Gene Billingsley of Findlay; nephews, Mark Cousino of Cincinnati, David Cousino of Clyde; niece, Kathleen Munson of Huron and other numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her four-legged family members, her dog, Tip, and her cat, Miss Shila.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Marilyn made many great friends over the years in Bellevue, Bloomdale, and Fostoria, especially at the Quail Meadows Apartments.
Marilyn was a 1952 graduate of Bellevue High School and Tiffin University where she belonged to Alpha Iota Sorority.  She married Leo Wilkinson, Feb. 24, 1989, who passed away in 1999. She was a customer service representative and secretary for Central Soya of Bellevue for 36½ years, retiring in 1989.

Joy A. Kirian, 58, of Fostoria, died 1:51 a.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Toledo Hospital.
She was born Nov. 24, 1955, in Fostoria to John “Long John” and Barbara (O’Dell) Rice, and her mother survives in Fostoria.
She married Robert N. Zender and he is deceased. She then married Paul F. Kirian, and he survives in Fostoria.
Also surviving are children, Buddy (Sarah) Zender, Briana Zender, Britany Zender, Chad (Ashley) Kirian and Tyriana L. Settles, all of Fostoria; grandchildren, Robert, Madelyn and Bryce Zender, Jazlynn Settles, Ayden Zender-Garcia and Racquelle, Krue and Vivalynne Kirian; sister, Phyllis Risner of Fostoria; and a brother, David (Cathy) Rice, Sylvania.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Rice.
Joy was a homemaker and had worked as a binder at the former Gray Printing in Fostoria for 20 years.
She will be remembered as a strong woman, sometimes outspoken, who dearly loved her family and especially the grandchildren. She also had a special passion for animals and her cats.

Betty E. Baker, 88, of Fostoria, passed away 12:15 am Monday July 14, 2014 at St. Catherine’s, Fostoria.
She was born Sept. 28, 1925, in Fostoria to the late Wendel Morel and Irene (Broyles) Morel-Price. She married Joseph A. “Joe” Baker Jan. 23, 1943, in Fostoria, and he died March 21, 2006.
Surviving are two children, Paul J. (Margaret) Baker, Renton, Wash., and Linda K. (Jerald) Wise, Tiffin; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leo and Wendel Morel Jr., and a sister, Kathryn Smith.
Betty retired in 1984 from Honeywell, Fostoria after 32 years of service. She was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria.
Visitation was 4-7 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2014, at Hoening Funeral Home, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria.
Mass of Christian Burial was 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, where a Rosary was prayed at 10 a.m. Burial followed in St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery.

James A. “Jim” Herman, 67, Fostoria, died at his home on Tuesday, July 8, 2014.
He was born Sept. 14, 1946, in Toledo to the late Kenneth E. and Genevieve (Davis) Herman.
He married Paula J. (Bland) Dec. 29, 2000, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, and she survives him in Fostoria.
Also surviving are first wife, Judy (Frankart) (Phil) Helterband, from whom he was divorced, and from that union were born two children, Julie (Buddy) Roach, Beaver Creek, and Jackie Herman, who survive in Fostoria.
He then married Connie Sorg and she preceded him death. Surviving are their children, Nikki (Dan) Reineke of Tiffin, Angela (Rick) Ginnever of Fostoria, Jamie (Chris) Twining of Findlay, Jenna (John) Crull of Tipp City, Rob (Charise) Herman of Wallingford, Conn., and Beau (Sarah) Herman of Florida; along with 14 grandchildren; siblings, Kenny (Kathy) Herman of Fostoria, Tommy (Kathy) Herman of Alvada, Kathy (Jere) Witt of Genoa, Janine (Hank) Schultz of Fostoria, and Don (Tena) Herman of Bucyrus.  Jim will also be missed by his faithful friend Bitsy.

Wanda M. Dull, 91, Findlay, died Saturday, June 28, 2014, at the Judson Palmer Home, Findlay.
She was born Nov. 19, 1922, in West Millgrove to Charles and Edith (Echelbarger) Clark.
She married John O. Dull Oct. 23, 1960, in Tiffin and he died June 13, 2000.
Surviving are sons, Denny (Judy) Hall and Mark (Judy) Hall of Findlay; brother, Russell (Mary) Clark of Fostoria; sister, Bernadine Brady of Fostoria; grandchildren, Keith, Brett and Christopher Hall, Kerri Harmon and Chelsea Rodriques; 10 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Breck Dull.
She retired from Fostoria Industries and was a graduate of Fostoria High School. She attended the Fostoria Baptist Church.
Memorial services will take place Thursday, July 3, and 2 p.m. at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria with Pastor Terry McBeath officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Fountain Cemetery in Fostoria.

Charles L. Dodge, 62, Fostoria, died Sunday morning, June 29, 2014, at his home.
He was born June 14, 1952, in Boston, Mass.,  to Charles T. and Maria (Buonopane) Dodge.
He first married Marjorie Haubert in May 1973 and they divorced. He then married Deborah Johnson in January 1997.
Surviving are wife, Deborah Dodge of Fostoria; mother, Maria Bachelder of East Weymouth, Mass.; daughter, Laura (Matthew) Hossler of Waterville; sons, Kevin (Jami) Dodge of Fostoria and Matthew Dodge of Shepard AFB Wichita Falls, Texas; stepdaughter, Kerri Johnson of Findlay; stepsons, Brian Johnson of Van Buren and Nate Johnson of Fostoria; sisters, Linda (Steve) Perona of Norwell, Mass., and Rayleen Garrow of Rutland, Vt.; brothers, William Dodge of East Weymouth, Mass., and Kevin (Colleen) Bachelder of Halifax, Mass.; and grandchildren, Zachary Hossler, Megan Dodge, Trey and Rylee Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Robert Dodge.
Charlie retired in 2012 as a projects coordinator for Peterman & Associates in Findlay. Prior to that, he work for the City of Fostoria for more than 25 years as labor superintendent of utilities and administrative assistant to the mayor.

Carol Jean Fox, 76, Fostoria, died Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Bridge Hospice in Findlay.
She was born Jan. 15, 1938, in Fostoria to Charles and Carolyn (Snyder) Fox.
Surviving are nephew, Jimmy Ray “J.R.” (Val) Searles of Fostoria and great-niece, Kaitlyn Rose Searles of Fostoria.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Bonnie Searles.
She retired from Fostoria City School as a cafeteria worker. Prior to that she was a clerk at Wagner IGA & Sauber’s Meats.
She was a 1956 graduate of Fostoria High School.
Carol Jean loved animals and was a strong supporter of the area Humane Societies.
Memorial services will be Monday, June 30,  11 a.m. at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria with the Rev. Donald Goodwin officiating.
One hour of visitation will take place prior to the service.

Wilbur A. Hall, 85, Fostoria, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria.
He was born Oct. 19, 1928, in Fostoria, the son of Wilbur and Helen (Armstrong) Hall.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carol Hall;  children, Scott W. (Lori) Hall of Tiffin, Jeffery L. (Kitty) Hall of Fostoria, and Eric A. Hall of Chicago, Ill.; five grandchildren, Brooks, Brady, Kinsey, Danielle (Josh), and Courtney; and one great-grandchild, Jayden.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Wilbur was a 1946 graduate of Fostoria High School.
He married Carol Luman on Oct. 9, 1955, at First Methodist Church in Fostoria. He was a lithograph operator for Gray Printing for more than 46 years.
He was a veteran of the Air Force and served during the Korean War.  Wilbur enjoyed bowling, woodcarving, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 30, at Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria with Pastor William Bentley officiating.
The United Veterans of Fostoria will provide military honors.
